DIY Wedding Veil

Save hundreds of pounds by making your own wedding veil!

Instead of forking out hundreds of pounds for some stiff tulle and a hair clip, why not make your very own, one of a kind wedding veil? The sky is the limit – splurge on luxurious fabrics, make it however many layers or whatever length you want, edge with glitzy crystals or ribbons.

I wasn’t too fussed about a veil, I knew I wanted one but wanted something glamorous and simple. How hard could it be?! Looking up various tutorials online, it didn’t seem too difficult as long as you had a sewing machine.

I found this fabric online on Etsy after a recommendation from a tutorial, it is a very close match to the fabric that Kate Middleton had for her veil – but sooo much cheaper! I only spent about £20 purchasing the fabric and it came in lovely packaging and was perfect for what I needed. I also purchased a gold hair comb from eBay which you can see here.

Tutorial coming soon…
