Metal is best! As my hair and makeup lady says… the metal hair combs are a lot better for securing into hair as you can put grips in them. The plastic ones can snap, are difficult to secure, they can slide out and the metal ones add that touch of luxury! Also when I made my veil I sewed it on the wrong way round, the metal one saved me as I just bent it round to be correct when it would sit in my hair! So here is where you can get the hair comb I purchased for my veil… a bargain at £2.50!
